Who we are

Deep Gloss Valeting, Hunters Race, Chichester PO19 5UD, is the data controller for the personal data described here.

What we collect

Your name, phone number, email address, service address and postcode, vehicle make, model and size, booking dates, notes you give us, and payment status. We never store card or bank login details.

Why we use it

To book, carry out and manage your valet, including repeat maintenance visits (performance of a contract).

To send booking confirmations and job updates by email or WhatsApp if you opted in.

To keep accounting records required by law (legal obligation).

We will only send marketing messages if you have clearly agreed to receive them.

Who can see it

Only Deep Gloss Valeting and the detailer assigned to your job. We use secure, encrypted hosting and email providers to run our booking system. We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

Booking details are kept while you are a customer, and accounting records for up to 6 years as required by HMRC. After that they are deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and you can object to how we use it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
